Internship - Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Purecontrol develops energy optimization solutions based on AI and real-time data.

We develop optimal control solutions for industrial systems by exploiting machine learning methods. These methods initially make it possible to synthesize a digital twin of the system to be regulated solely on the basis of available data, subsequently serving as a support for the synthesis of optimal controllers.

As part of the company's R&D activities, we are looking for a Engineering trainee student in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop data-based algorithms to model the dynamics of various systems, such as:

● Sludge dewatering system in a wastewater treatment plant,

● Deodorization system for treatment plants,

● Industrial systems using compressed air (compressors, etc.).

In a second part, the objective will be to optimize the management of the studied system, using MPC-type techniques, and using the predictive models previously built.

The intern will be integrated into a small multidisciplinary team composed of AI engineers, energy and industrial systems specialists. He or she will be accompanied by a tutor or a referent tutor, who will supervise the development of skills and the progress of the project.

Purecontrol is looking for a rigorous candidate and standalone for this end-of-studies internship focused on predictive modeling in AI. You must have a strong interest in machine learning and operational research technologies and their application in complex industrial contexts, as well as a desire to learn and actively contribute to innovative projects.

The skills and qualities sought are:

● Basic knowledge in stats And in maths,

● Some experience with bookstores machine learning like scikit-learn or TensorFlow,

● Experience in modeling and solving MILP problems,

● The ability to conceptualize concrete problems by modeling problems and to propose appropriate solutions,

● One oddity intellectual and a Desire to learn new technologies and techniques,

● Good skills in communication, both oral and written, in French and, ideally, in English.

We are mainly interested in candidates with backgrounds in computer science, applied mathematics or engineering, but remain open to other profiles with a strong interest in predictive modeling and energy optimization.
