Customer Success Manager

We are looking for a CSM to develop high-impact projects and optimize the energy performance of strategic industrial facilities.

PURECONTROL is a positive impact technology company that develops an intelligent optimization SaaS solution for industrial processes (powered by Artificial Intelligence).

Rapidly growing, we are looking to strengthen our team with a hybrid profile for a Customer Success Manager (CSM) focused on Expansion / Sales. Your main objective will be twofold: 

  • Become a key driver of our growth by identifying and realizing new business opportunities within our installed base (new module sales, scope extensions, upsell). 
  • Maximize the retention and satisfaction of our current clients. 

In this highly strategic role, your ability to combine client relations and business development will be directly linked to the company's revenue growth. 

Key Responsibilities

As a CSM , you will be the primary point of contact for our clients. 

1. Business Development 

  • Identify and activate growth levers: Analyze client needs to propose additional solutions or scope extensions (cross-sell / upsell).
  • Sales cycle management: Manage the entire sales process with your current clients, from needs qualification to financial negotiation and contract signing.

2. Customer Relationship, Loyalty & Retention

  • Strategic Monitoring: Organize and lead regular follow-up meetings (monthly and quarterly reviews) with technical and decision-making stakeholders.
  • Ensuring Renewals: Ensure daily customer satisfaction, address pain points, and secure contract renewals (churn reduction).
  • Internal Ambassador: Relay field feedback to the Product and R&D teams to inform the roadmap.

3. Onboarding & Performance Management

  • Project Kick-off: Be the primary point of contact upon signing to coordinate the project scope with our project teams.
  • Value Demonstration: Analyze performance indicators (KPIs) to tangibly demonstrate the value generated and the energy savings achieved through our solution.

Profil recherché

For this key position, we are primarily looking for a "Hunter" profile: you enjoy long-term client relationships, but you are also driven by achieving commercial objectives.

Key skills:

  • Strong commercial drive: You enjoy negotiation, have a strong results-oriented mindset, and are comfortable with value-based/ROI-driven selling.
  • Excellent communication skills: Active listening, a pedagogical approach, and the ability to convince high-level stakeholders (Operators, Operations Managers, Industrial Directors).
  • Technical aptitude: Ability to understand and simplify complex topics related to data, AI, or industry.
  • Organizational skills: Diligence in managing a client portfolio and simultaneously handling deployment projects and sales cycles.

Experience & Education:

  • 0 to 5 years of experience in a similar CSM role with upsell objectives, account management, or B2B Business Development experience in the software/SaaS industry.
  • Education: Business School, Engineering School, or university equivalent, ideally with dual technical and commercial expertise.
  • Experience in the industrial, water, or energy sectors is a significant plus, as is an awareness of environmental issues.

Rémunération et avantages

Fixed salary: €30,000 to €35,000

Variable salary determined through an annual variable compensation plan
